The Portes du Soleil area offers everything you can dream of. Investments in the last years made the connection from La Chapelle d’Abondance towards Avoriaz easier, due to new chairlifts.

Cross country skiing

The slopes start right at our residence, and you can ski in the direction of Abondance or Châtel. Challening for every level.
Plan

La Joly is right in the middle of the biggest ski area of Europe, Portes du Soleil. More that 680 KMs connected slopes, with good snow conditions as from December till April. Altitudes range from 1.100 m till 2.500 m, and slopes are challenging for every level; you will find plenty of easy green and blue slopes, but also challenging bumpy black ones. You ski in both France and Switzerland, enjoying a definitely spectacular scenery in bush and mountain environment.

Shuttle bus

If you don’t want to use your car, you can use the shuttle bus which drives to the Panthiaz (free) within 5 minutes and the Linga (€1,50) within 15 minutes.

Relax in a thermalbath

Relax completely in a thermal bath. Follow the stream of warm water (35°C), go to the Hamman saunas or dive into a snow hole.

Ski lessons for everyone

Both private and grouplessons at ESF, as from €125,- for 6 days. Contact ESF for more information. Lessons are right in front of the Résidence at Crêt-Béni.
