Visit authentic mountain villages

You find plenty authentic villages around the corner in La Chapelle d’Abondance. During summertime will you find markets in most of these villages.

In summertime, we are looking forward to welcome you at Résidence La Joly – ChaletYap. In the middle of Portes du Soleil, you are in a paradise for mountainbikers, hikers, fisherman, swimmers and mountainlovers in general.

Enjoy exiting trips

Within 60 minutes driving from La Joly, there are lots of interesting places to visit. For exemple: a daytrip to the Mont Blanc, the saltmines in Aigle, the museum of Martigny. Did you think about a boattrip on lake Léman, to Lausanne and Montreux?

Relax in a Thermalbath

Relax completely in a thermal bath. Follow the stream of warm water (35°C), go to the Hamman saunas or dive into a snow hole.

Walk in the Alps

You can make impressive hikes in the French Alps. The GR-5 walking track passes by our Résidence.
